Altered State Comics was born from the DIY spirit of two punk kids, Brandon Forrest and Jon Brunts, who grew up immersed in St. Louis’s music scene and a deep love for comics, movies, and fandom culture. What started as a dream to create the ultimate nerdy clubhouse has since grown into a vibrant community hub—recognized by the Riverfront Times as the best comic shop in St. Louis.
