Heroes World has been serving the geeks, gamers, genre, comic fans and fans of popular culture for Markham and the surrounding area since 2001. Owners Andre Greenridge, and Jon Ho wanted to create a comic book shop, unlike anything they had experienced before. They wanted to break away from the stereotypes of what a comic shop is, and what the people who run it are like.
Taking the best elements from different stores they had visited, they wanted to open a unique new store close to home and become a part of the community.
